Vermaat is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal data you provide to us. By personal data we mean the information that can be traced back to a specific person, for example a name, a home address or an e-mail address. We also believe that it is important to inform you about how we use your personal data, and in addition to provide you with choices about how your data are used. Therefore, we encourage you to read this Privacy Statement carefully.


Applicability of this Privacy Statement

This Privacy Statement applies to the websites Vermaatgroep.nl, werkenbijvermaat.nl and all other related websites, applications, (email) services and tools that refer to this Privacy Statement, regardless of how you accessed or used the websites, including access or use via mobile devices. This Privacy Statement also applies to all information collected or used by Vermaat Groep B.V. or (one or more of) its subsidiaries. Vermaat may be involved in the processing of personal data in various ways, both directly and indirectly.

Direct processing occurs when personal data are provided directly by you to Vermaat. For example by completing the contact form or sending a CV.


Data that Vermaat may process from you may include:

  • First and last name
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • IP address
  • Name and address
  • Citizen service number (BSN)
  • Gender
  • Date of birth
  • Employment data
  • Payroll data

Vermaat processes the data collected for the performance of its services and/or to comply with laws and regulations.

Vermaat does not sell personal data to any third parties. Personal data are shared with third parties if this is necessary for the performance of the service agreement or to comply with legal obligations. Such third parties for instance are the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV) and (income) insurance companies. With organizations that process data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of personal data.


COOKIES

We or our service providers may use cookies, which are small text files that are sent to your computer. It allows us to recognize your computer when you revisit us, and it can help us analyse how visitors use our website. Among other things, we use this information to track how you use our website so that we can optimize it.

ANALYTICS

Google uses this information to track how our websites are used and to provide reports on the websites to us. Google may also provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as those third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.


PURPOSE

Unless we have obtained your prior consent, we do not collect or use information for any other purposes than those described in this Privacy Statement.

We process your information for several reasons:

- to be able to perform our services;

- to be able to contact you regarding, for example, a job application;

- to be able to resolve complaints.

The lawful basis for collecting those data may be Vermaat's legitimate interest, a legal basis or an agreement.


SECURITY

Vermaat takes technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorized use. Examples of security measures include logical access security, authorizations management, encryption of personal data, intensive monitoring of websites and infrastructure for security breaches, use of firewalls, and agreements with suppliers on information security.

Staff of Vermaat and any third parties who may have knowledge of the data recorded by Vermaat are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of those data. Only authorized personnel may view and process data. This is also permitted only to the extent necessary for adequate performance of the work. In addition, we ensure proper security. Think of usernames and passwords.


RETENTION PERIODS

The retention period used by Vermaat may differ for each purpose. This also depends on the nature of the data. At the end of the retention period, we will in principle remove your personal data or anonymize it in such a way that it can no longer be used and/or is no longer accessible. Vermaat uses anonymized data after the expiry of the retention period only for historical or statistical purposes.


THIRD PARTIES

Your data are not shared with third parties. In some cases, your data may be shared internally. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your data.


DATA ACCESS, MODIFICATION OR DELETION

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. Requests regarding these rights can be submitted to bedrijfsmanagement@vermaatgroep.nl.


CHANGES

From time to time, we may amend this Privacy Statement. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Statement, we will post those changes on this page. In addition, we will make every effort to notify you of those changes. We advise you to review our Privacy Statement on a regular basis.
